I’m Ren—the face behind Ren Sage Film. I’m stoked you’re here! I’m a dedicated lover of the 60’s + 70’s, whether that be through music, clothing, or art. I recently graduated from WVU with a Bachelor’s degree in English with minors in History and Art History. I’m currently continuing my literary studies at WVU to get my Master’s. When I’m not photographing, you’ll often find me deep into my current read, walking my furry bestfriend, Henry, hiking (barefoot) in the woods, enjoying some dogs and fries from Hometown Hotdogs, or scavenging in my local antique shop with a Coke in hand.

How did this photography thing come to be? I’ve been experimenting with photography since I was young. My mom gifted me my first DSLR camera in 2013 and I was instantly hooked. One thing led to another and random friends in bands were asking for promo shots, cousins were asking for their homecoming dance to be captured, and it snowballed from there. I never believed I would achieve such a connected, dedicated, and supportive community with my clients. I thrive on my creativity and new ideas, so this job fills my heart with love. Every shoot is different and I aim to tell your story with my art. I especially have a fascination with editorial photography. Whatever your heart’s vision seems to be, I’m here to make it happen.
